Terms of Use
These terms govern your use of the smughal.com website. They are short, because this is a website that describes what we do and lets you join a waitlist — not a product you log into.
Separate agreements cover our actual products and services. The Suhbah app has its own Terms of Service. Client work is governed by the written agreement we sign for that engagement, and where those terms differ from these, the signed agreement wins.
1. Agreement
This site is operated by SMughal Labs LLC, a New Jersey limited liability company. By using it, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy, which is part of this agreement. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
2. Acceptable use
You may read, link to and share anything published here. You may not:
- scrape, crawl or bulk-download the site beyond ordinary indexing, or use bots and automated access except as we expressly permit;
- submit false, automated or bulk waitlist entries, or sign up an address that is not yours;
- probe, scan or test the security of the site, circumvent access controls, or reach data you are not authorized to reach;
- interfere with the site, overload our infrastructure, or introduce malware;
- impersonate SMughal Labs or misrepresent your affiliation with us;
- use the site for anything unlawful, fraudulent or harmful.
Good-faith security research is welcome — see the disclosure note in our Privacy Policy.
3. Waitlists
Joining a waitlist reserves nothing and guarantees nothing. It is a request to be told when something ships. Products described on this site may change substantially or never launch at all, pricing shown is indicative until a product is generally available, and we may close, reorder or cancel a waitlist at any time. You can leave any list by using the unsubscribe link in our email or by emailing contact@smughal.com.
4. Our content
The text, design, code, diagrams, logos and brand names on this site belong to SMughal Labs LLC or are used with permission, and are protected by copyright and trademark law. You may quote or excerpt reasonable portions with attribution and a link. You may not republish substantial portions, or use our names or logos to suggest an endorsement or partnership that does not exist, without our written permission.
If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them freely and without obligation or compensation to you.
5. No professional advice
Articles, guidance and security commentary on this site are published for general information. They are not legal, financial or professional security advice, they are not tailored to your environment, and acting on them is your decision and your risk. Engaging us for client work creates a professional relationship; reading this site does not.
6. Third-party links
We link to external sites for convenience. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, products or practices.
7. Disclaimer
The site is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, SMughal Labs LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising out of your use of this site. Our total liability for any claim relating to the site is limited to one hundred US dollars ($100). This section does not limit liability that cannot be limited by law.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. For any dispute arising from this site, you and SMughal Labs consent to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the state and federal courts located in New Jersey. If you are a consumer resident in the EEA or the UK, nothing here deprives you of the protection of mandatory consumer law in your country of residence.
10. Changes
We may update these terms as the site changes. The version stamp at the top of this page tells you which version is current. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
